Pig Butcher Hooks

This dandy Pig Hook was handmade in rural PA by Gatski Metal from recycled farm machinery. They are called, "butcher hooks" in tribute to Ben Gatski's great grandfather, Raymond August, the butcher. The tradition and pride in, "butchery" the art of cutting meat, is passed along thru the family.  Hang your kitchen tools, market bags or towels on these nice little hooks.

The pig is hand cut from recycled farm machinery. The pattern is hand drawn on the metal with soapstone and cut with a hand held plasma cutter. The two halves of the pig are then welded together. The hooks are made with metal rod that was cut and bent into shape.

Each Pig will have very subtle variations. They are cut by hand and each piece of metal has slight color differences.

The metal is sealed so you can hang this charming Pig Hook inside or out. It is easy to hang with either a nail or a screw.

Size:  12”wide by 10" high

Each one is made to order and will ship in 3-5 business days.  Your Pig Hook will come gift wrapped in tissue paper and tied with ribbon.

Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. If outdoors, you can maintain a shiny metal look [entirely optional] by applying a clear metal enamel, available in a spray can at your local hardware store.
